STATEMENT OF FAITH

The Holy Bible is the inspired, infallible, inerrant Word of God and is the basis of our faith. The church subscribes to the doctrinal statement of the "Baptist Faith and Message" as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention in 2000.  The church follows our Lord Jesus Christ in the ordinances of baptism and the Lord's Supper.

GOD

God is the one and only Creator and Sustainer of all things.

THE TRINITY

God is one “What” (God) and three “Whos” (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit).

THE BIBLE

The Bible is God’s Word and is wholly true in all that it affirms.

FREEWILL

In God’s sovereignty, He gives us free will.

PEOPLE

Every person has sinned and is in need of salvation from the penalty of sin, death.

JESUS CHRIST

Jesus defeated death and offers the free gift of eternal life to all who believe.

SALVATION

Salvation is by faith alone in Christ alone by God’s grace alone.

CHURCH

The Church gathers for training and scatters for evangelism and discipleship.

DISCIPLESHIP

Discipleship is about replication which means that true Disciples make other Disciples.

HOLY SPIRIT

The Holy Spirit inspired the writing of the Bible and He illuminates the truth today.

PRAYER

Prayer is God’s way of getting His will done in our lives.

SERVANT LEADER

Deacons lead by serving and Elders serve by leading.
